After addressing various pain points related to the merge of my migration branch (as I wrote before, I had to go from Svelte 3 to 4 and then to 5) I finally was able to deploy the updated version to Heroku again.
I spent a while updating almost all of the components and pages with suitable UI controls from the Flowbite Svelte library, making updates a lot easier than before. There are only some minor issues here and there that will require further investigation, but generally things are looking good, e.g. here:
I also updated the styles so that usage on a smartphone should work better now – as things go, there is still some room for improvement for the quite complex selection of map waypoints though 😁.
