While working on my recent map, I also looked into the possibility of having rotating brushes (in Quake 1), but unfortunately no such thing is possible when the map has to be compatible with the original Quake 1 đ
What does exist is the Scourge of Armagon official mission pack that introduced moving brushes back in the day. In Quake 2 things also changed with the introduction of the new func_rotating entity, but it looks like for my map I’ll have to stick to conventional func_train and path_corner entities.
My aim, to elaborate on it, was to build a kind of tunnel where the walls rotate around the length of it, giving the impression of walking through a giant barrel.
